Job Details:
- Position: Permanent
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
- $35–$45 an hour
Qualifications:
- Education: Must have a certificate or diploma in another trade.
- Experience: Having previous experience is a plus
Tasks
- Examine blueprints, sketches, and specifications to plan the layout of plumbing, water supply, and waste drainage systems
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems in houses, commercial establishments, or industrial environments.
- Create bids and price quotes
- Determine and mark where pipes, connections, and fixtures should go in walls and floors.
- Cut openings in walls and floors to fit pipes and fittings.
- Connect pipes using various methods such as couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
- Check pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
- Calculate expenses and materials needed.
- Measure, cut, thread, and shape pipes to the necessary size and form.
